Maternity Photos

Our good friend Vanessa bought us a Maternity photo session with a local photographer. We were really excited about the opportunity to professionally document this stage of our lives and yet didn't want to take ourselves too seriously! These are the initial photos that the photographer sent us...we promise to add the funny ones when he sends them along!

Belly Casting

During a showing on a recent house hunt we saw a house with a "casting" of the mother's belly during her pregnancy. Addie really liked the idea and we were lucky enough to receive a casting kit at the baby shower. The process was a ton of fun and brought us back to our elementary school days! Here are some photos. Once it's completely dried we will decide how to decorate it and add some more photos.

The Final Countdown

It's getting close! Our due date is April 13th so we are in the final stretch. We figured we should start a blog to keep people updated as to the what is happening and when. So here you go...

Addie will be 37 weeks on Monday the 23rd (which is considered full term). Every person we talk to says that our lives will never be the same...and I'm sure we won't really even know what that means until it actually happens.

Addie is doing great! Although we continue to read and hear about horror stories (hemorrhoids, sciatica, indigestion, sleepless nights etc.) she's been spared of most. There is of course some discomfort and the seemingly constant need to use the restroom (including all hours of the night).
